All inclusive holiday packages have soared in popularity with UK holidaymakers after being found to be much cheaper than other packages. All inclusive deals where consumers pay for their flights, transfers, hotels, food and drinks on one package have been shown to often cost far less than buying the different holiday items separately, recent research has shown.

All-inclusive holidays are 32 per cent more popular than last year, with up to 63 per cent of people seeking holidays choosing them.
The Daily Express recently cited an example where an “all-inclusive to the Costa del Sol with operator First Choice is £1,960 cheaper than a self-catering holiday plus the cost of food and drinks, while going to Turkey is £1,693 cheaper on an all-inclusive with Thomson Holidays.”
According to the well respected travel price comparison website travelsupermarket.com, the boom in all-inclusive holidays has been at the expense of conventional half board/full board holidays as well as budget self-catering trips.

Value for money is becoming one of the most important factors when it comes to choosing a holiday package, with 79 per cent of Brits saying it is even more important than the weather, amenities or facilities! This trend has led to high street travel operator First Choice making all their breaks all-inclusive as of next summer.

All inclusive holidays are tradtionally best known for luxury destinations like Aruba in the Caribbean, the Mexican Riviera or 5 star Sandals resorts, rather than cheap holidays or budget destinations. Those looking for cheap holiday packages have tended to use Teletext or search for last minute bargains online. However it looks as if the amrketplace may be changing with First Choice
offering all inclusive deals to discount resorts located in European hotspots such as Tunisia, Spain, Portugal and Greece.

The Global Foreign Exchange Services Currency Index, has revealed the trend in increasing popularity of these all-inclusive holiday deals by tracking currency purchases. Turkey has increased by 115 percent, while Egypt fell by 50 percent.

Beach Holiday Packages Aruba

Aruba is the smallest of the Dutch Antilles in the Caribbean, a paradise of powder-white sandy beaches, year round average temperatures in the low 80s, and annual rainfall of just 20 inches ( by comparison, Miami averages almost 60 inches). No wonder Aruba is the island of choice for those seeking beach vacation packages! The main Aruba beaches are (in no particular order):-

Arashi Beach
Powder soft white sand, with few pebbles or stones, superb swimming / snorkeling in tranquil watesr. No facilities to speak of, but there are some beach huts offering shade at least. Calm surf and a mostly sandy bottom make Arashi Beach one of the best swimming beaches in Aruba. Near the California Lighthouse, and California Point. On the west side of the island, Arashi is the most northerly beach.

Malmok Beach
A really popular snorkeling location, Malmok offers shallow water, small sandy bays and plenty of fish. No facilities nearby. Malmok Beach is easily accessible by car or public bus. The coral reef is easily accessible along the coast and is a great source of tourism on the island.

Hadicurari beach
White powdery sand, some pebbles and stones, and very shallow water which makes this beach excellent for boardsailing, Hadikurari is where the annual Hi-Winds Pro Am Windsurfing Competion is held each year. Sailboard Vacations and Aruba Boardsailing School are nearby and offer accommodation just a couple of hundred yards up the street to the north of the beach.

Tamarijn resort Aruba and Divi resro tare two adjacent properties which are essentially part of the same holiday complex, the rooms at Tamarijn are all beach front, its just a 5 minute walk or a free shuttle between the two resorts along the private beach. Aruba is very safe to walk around unlike some of the other caribbean islands and there is plenty to do outside the resort (jeep tours, Palm Island trips with Sea Trek, snorkelling, beer factory visits etc). we truly enjoyed our stay at the Tamarijn resort Aruba. The beach in particular is spectacular, clean and quiet. The rooms were spotless with very comfy beds. Restaurants(at both the Tamarijn resort and the Divi resort) were worth booking with great food and service. The pool areas were clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and we felt very safe even when out at night!
